DOWNTOWN TRANSIT ALTERNATIVES ANALYSIS

 

Spokane Transit announces its intention to seek proposals from interested, qualified and experienced Respondents (individuals or firms) to assist in the development of a downtown transit alternatives analysis as outlined in the Request for Proposals (RFP) package.


Proposals [one (1) original plus sixteen (16) copies] must be submitted in accordance with requirements set forth in the RFP by 4:00 p.m., local time, Friday, December 18, 2009.
A pre-proposal conference will be held at the Spokane Transit, 1230 West Boone Avenue, Spokane, WA, on Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at 1:30 p.m., local time. Prospective contractors are encouraged to attend.



This procurement is partially funded by the United States Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration (FTA). Proposers will be required to comply with all applicable FTA, State, and Local rules and regulations.

INVITATION FOR BIDS – Bid Notice

 

Sealed bids will be received for the following Project:

 

IFB# 09-STA-404 – ROOF REPAIR FOR BOONE AVENUE AND CHARLES FLECK CENTER

 

Project Description: This work shall consist of providing and installing six-inch pressure sensitive tape strip onto approximately 100 feet of base flashing on skylights, pipes and HVAC curbs and repair any visible and marked punctures on field roof surface of STA’s Maintenance and Operations facility located at 1229 & 1230 West Boone Avenue.

 

The work shall also consist of providing and installing six-inch pressure sensitive Carlisle tape strip onto approximately 500 feet of base flashing on skylights, pipes, HVAC curbs and repair any visible and marked punctures on field roof surface of STA’s Charles Fleck Center located at 127 S. Bowdish Road. The project is described further in the Invitation for Bids document.

Pre-Bid Meeting: A Pre-Bid meeting and site inspection will be held at 2:00 pm local time, on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the project site located at 1229 W. Boone Avenue. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend.

 

Sealed Bid Opening: 2:00 pm local time, Tuesday, November 24, 2009 in the STA South Side A conference room at Owner’s location listed above. Bids will not be accepted after this time/date.

 

Availability of Bid Documents: Complete sets of Bidding Documents are available from the contact person as listed above.

 

The project is funded with local and Federal Funds. Prevailing Wage rates shall apply on this project.

 

The Owner reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bid proposals and to waive minor informalities in the bidding process.

 

No Bidder may withdraw his bid after hour set for opening thereof unless contract award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days.

 


 

The right is reserved to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informalities and irregularities in the proposal submission process, to negotiate with any proposers, and to accept proposals which are considered to be in the best interest of STA.
