Adult Pass | top

Spokane Transit’s Adult Pass is for ages 19 and up. A monthly pass is $33 and is good for the entire STA system.

VIP Pass | top

Spokane Transit’s VIP Pass is for people who have a Reduced Fare Photo ID Card or a Paratransit Eligibility Card. A monthly pass is $16.50 and is good for use on the entire STA system. The Reduced Fare Photo ID Card is also a Smart Card that can be used as a stored-value card to pay fares or as a monthly pass.

A Reduced Fare Photo ID Cardholder or a Paratransit Eligibility Cardholder is required to pay a $0.50 fare or use a reduced fare VIP pass. There is a small charge for the Photo ID card. Applications for the ID card are accepted only at The Bus Shop on The Plaza’s second floor. The Reduced Fare Photo ID Card or a Paratransit Eligibility Card must be shown each time you board the bus in order to pay the reduced fare of $0.50 or to use a VIP bus pass.

Qualifications for a Reduced Fare Photo ID Card:

  • Proof of age 65 years or older must be presented, or
  • Qualifying disability -- application form must be completed by a physician or qualified health care provider, or
  • Valid Social Security Administration Title II (SSI) or Title XVII (Medicare card) documentation must be presented.

CityTicket | top

City Ticket makes getting to work downtown more convenient. Here's how it works: for just $19 a month, you get a parking spot at the Spokane Arena. From there, a Spokane Transit Streetcar Shuttle will give you a ride into the core of downtown, making stops at many central locations including the The Plaza, City Hall, and River Park Square. Service is as frequent as every 5 minutes during peak hours.

Summer Youth Pass | top

Where do you want to go this summer? Chances are Spokane Transit can take you there! Summer is a time to get out and explore your community, attend interesting camps and classes and simply enjoy the warm weather, but getting from place to place can be tough.

The STA Summer Youth Pass is good for unlimited use of the system in June, July and August. Buying a Summer Youth Pass saves you nearly $40 over the regular Youth Pass price.

EWU Eagle Pass | top

EWU faculty, staff and students ride free by swiping their EagleCard when boarding the bus on any and all Spokane Transit bus routes. Eligible paratransit users also ride free with their EagleCard.

EWU encourages employees and students who commute to or from Spokane to use the bus to reduce the number of single-occupant vehicles on the roads each day. The partnership between Spokane Transit and EWU is designed to reduce additional parking lots, lower student living costs, and meet the state-mandated commute trip reduction goals for reducing employee commuter traffic. The program is paid for by EWU Parking Services, the University, and Associated Students of EWU.
