Beginning June 1, Connect cards can be purchased and reloaded at any Safeway or Albertsons in Spokane, Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, and Cheney! A $5 fee will be charged for new Connect cards at those retail locations – but that $5 will be added back to your card in 2-3 business days.
If you get your Connect card at STA Plaza or sign up over the phone, there is no $5 activation fee. If you get your card online, there is no fee but it requires a $5 minimum load value.
Also beginning June 1, the replacement fee for a Connect card will be $1. (This fee is waived for Reduced and Zero Fare customers).
