Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Expo ’74 with STA! These two months of events commemorate a pivotal moment in Spokane’s history.
As part of the celebrations, we’re launching a variety of STA promotions. Here’s what riders can look forward to in the coming weeks.
Promotional Fares
We’re excited to offer free bus and Paratransit service system-wide on weekends, from May 4 to July 4. Plan your trip with our trip planner or contact the Customer Service call center at 509-328-7433 (find opening hours on our Customer Service page). To book Paratransit service, you can call 509-328-1552.
Additionally, Route 11, the Downtown/North Bank Shuttle, will offer rides for just 50 cents from Monday to Friday, from May 3 to July 5. This special fare will also extend through the following weekend, ending on Sunday, July 7*.
Make the most of these promotional fares by using one of our park and ride lots. With 14 convenient locations throughout the region, you can skip the hassle of downtown parking and let us do the driving.
Limited Edition Connect Cards
Get your limited edition Connect card! These cards feature iconic Expo ’74 designs, combining nostalgic elements with a sleek, modern feel.
Order online or at our Customer Service window starting May 4. Those attending Bloomsday this year can also grab one at our STA booth during the Bloomsday Trade Show.
Special Expo '74 Bus
Finally, don’t miss our special edition Expo ’74-themed bus, which is currently featured on the Route 11 Downtown/North Bank Shuttle and Route 12.
* Transfers will not be issued on Route 11 during the promotional fare period.
