New Partnership To Help Students Get to School

A recently announced partnership between Spokane Public Schools and STA will greatly increase the number of high school students using transit to travel to and from school. Spokane Public Schools will be sponsoring new Connect Cards for hundreds of students who live beyond the walking distance boundary to school but have access to STA bus service in their neighborhood.

In addition to existing routes and new routes that began on the August 28 Service Change, several “school tripper” routes will operate on school days. These routes are open to the public and will run on a regular schedule. Visit STA’s real time page or use your favorite third-party app to plan a journey to and from school.
