Get to Bloomsday 2025 with Spokane Transit

Whether you are lacing up your running shoes or just showing your support, we’re looking forward to getting you there are on time.

Bloomsday Shuttles

Ride downtown to the race on a shuttle from one of five parking lots.

Shuttles to Downtown board between 6:20 & 9 am.

To ensure you’re on time for the race, we recommend you arrive at your chosen Shuttle Lot two hours before your color group’s race time. 

Sign for Bloomsday shuttle boarding; passengers enter a blue and green bus marked "Bloomsday," part of our dedicated Bloomsday service.

Northtown Mall

Last shuttle leaves at 9 am

Use Route 25 to return after 2 pm.

Route 25 runs every 30 min.

Spokane Valley Mall

Last shuttle leaves at 9 am

Use Route 9 and transfer to Route 96 or Route 97 at Valley Transit Center to return after 2 pm.

Ferris High School

Use Route 4 Southbound to return after 2 pm.

Route 4 runs every 30 min.

Cheney/Red Barn

Route 6 runs every 60 min.

Heading back to the Shuttle Lots from Downtown

Before 2 pm

After the race, shuttles depart downtown from the same morning drop-off locations between 11 am and 2 pm.

From 2 – 4 pm

Use the regular bus service at the Alternate Downtown Boarding Bays. Check your corresponding Shuttle Lot for details on which bus number to look out for.

After 4 pm

Use the regular bus service at the STA Boarding Bays.

Downtown Shuttle Drop Off/Pick Up Locations

Bloomsday Shuttles drop off and pick up passengers on First Ave between Post and Stevens.

West Plains Service

Regularly scheduled service on Routes 60 and 61 serve many locations in Airway Heights and the West Plains.

Wall. The last trip departs at 8:20 pm.

Highway 2 / Fairchild Bloomsday Detour

For visitors staying near Airway Heights, this map shows the Route 61 detour to downtown from your accommodation.

The detour is active from 7 am to 4 pm.

Regular Bus Service

Regularly scheduled service is a great option to get to Bloomsday from all over the service area.

STA’s downtown transit hub (STA Plaza) is closed from the beginning of race day to 4 pm.

Use the alternate downtown boarding bays located at Second & Howard. Buses will resume boarding at STA Plaza after 4 pm.

Fares

STA Bloomsday Pass

The STA Bloomsday Pass is $2.00 and good all day on the entire STA system.

The STA Bloomsday Pass is printed on your race bib if you added it to your Bloomsday registration

An STA Bloomsday Sticker Pass is available at the STA booth at the Bloomsday Tradeshow.

Any Other Valid Fare

Any other valid fare is accepted on the bus. These could include:

Helpful Information

  • The last departure from shuttle lots is 9 am.
  • Arrive at shuttle stops two hours before your race time.
  • Backpacks ARE NOT allowed on the course. Visit the Bloomsday FAQ page (opens in new tab) to see all items not allowed on the course.
  • Strollers are accepted on buses if they can be folded.
    Please plan to arrive early if you are boarding with a
    stroller.

Paratransit Service

Paratransit service is available for individuals with existing Paratransit eligibility. Regular fares apply.

Paratransit drops off and picks up passengers at Fire Station #1 (Browne & Riverside) or the Flour Mill (621 W Mallon).
