Shuttle Service for Special Events
Spokane Transit offers special shuttle service for the following local events.
Skyfest
STA is proud to provide Skyfest shuttle service between the STA Plaza and Fairchild Air Force Base.
Fare
Fare: The Skyfest shuttle is free.
Shuttle Details
Boarding Times: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm with buses leaving at :00 and :30 after the hour.
Bloomsday
Every year, an estimated one-fourth of the runners and spectators coming to Bloomsday use Spokane Transit, either by riding an express Bloomsday shuttle or by regular bus service.
Fare
Fare: The $2.00 STA Bloomsday Pass is good all day on the entire STA bus system. Youth 18 and under ride free. STA Bloomsday Passes are not sold at STA Plaza nor on race day.
Where to Purchase Fare:
- You can purchase an STA Bloomsday Pass when registering for the race.
- At the Bloomsday Tradeshow located at the Spokane Convention Center.
- If you forgot to purchase a pass, you may still pay $2.00 as you board the bus. Please have the exact fare ready. Drivers are unable to give change.
Shuttle Details
Five conveniently located Bloomsday Express Shuttle lots are available:
- Northtown Mall
- Spokane Valley Mall
- Ferris High School
- Cheney/EWU
- West Plains Transit Center
Note the downtown location where you are dropped off. This is the same location where you will board for your return trip.
Boarding Times: 6:20 am – 8:30 am
Return Trip Boarding Times: 10:30 am – 2:00 pm. After 2:00 pm use regular bus service.
Hoopfest
Hoop Loop is STA’s bus shuttle service for Hoopfest participants.
Fare
Fare: The $2.00 Hoop Loop bus pass is good all day on the entire STA bus system. Youth 18 and under ride free.
Where to Purchase Fare: The Hoop Loop pass is available for purchase only on a Hoop Loop shuttle bus.
Shuttle Details
Two Hoopfest shuttle lots are available:
- Riverpoint Loop with parking at WSU Spokane
- Jefferson Loop with parking at the Jefferson lot
Boarding Times: Buses run every 10 minutes.
Valleyfest
STA offers a shuttle service between Cherry and Mirabeau Parkway and Spokane Valley Mall.
Fare
Fare: The Valleyfest shuttle is free all day.
Shuttle Details
There are two shuttle pick up locations:
- Near Red Robin at the Spokane Valley Mall
- Parking lots at Cherry and Mirabeau Parkway
Boarding Times: Buses run every 10 minutes.
Spokane County Interstate Fair
Route 342 Fairgrounds Shuttle is a limited service shuttle available to support events taking place at the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center.
Fare
Fare: The $2.00 pass is good all day on the entire STA bus system. Youth 18 and under ride free.
Where to Purchase Fare: The pass is available for purchase when boarding the shuttle at SCC.
Shuttle Details
The Fairgrounds shuttle goes between SCC Transit Center and the Fairgrounds gate on Broadway Avenue.
Boarding Times: Buses run every 30 minutes on weekdays and Sundays and every 20 minutes on Saturdays. Exact arrival and departure times are published closer to the event.
Christmas Bureau
Route 343 Bureau Fair Shuttle is a limited service shuttle available to support events taking place at the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center.
Fare
Fare: Standard $2.00 bus fare applies. Reduced fare and Paratransit fare are $1.00. Youth 18 and under ride free.
Shuttle Details
The Bureau Fair shuttle goes between SCC Transit Center and the Fairgrounds at Havana & Alki with two additional stops at Havana & Sprague and 5th & Florida.
Boarding Times: Buses run every 30 minutes. Exact arrival and departure times are published closer to the event.
