Rider Census (In-Person Survey)

Riders will be asked about which routes they use, how they pay bus fare, and how changes to our system could affect access and use of public transit.

This survey is part of STA’s Title VI Nondiscrimination Program requirements. STA uses the data gathered from this survey to analyze rider preferences, identify areas for improvement, and plan future service enhancements. This feedback helps ensure that the Spokane region’s public transit system meets the evolving needs of the community, particularly for minorities, low-income populations, and limited English proficiency populations.

Win a Prize

Survey participants can enter a drawing for a chance to win one of two 31-day passes. A separate form to collect basic contact information will be given by the survey collector. The contact information is NOT linked to survey responses.

How To Participate

The survey will be conducted in-person on our buses by survey collectors. These collectors are contracted or employed by STA.

Your participation is completely voluntary and anonymous. Data provided cannot be linked to specific individuals.

Survey Date

The survey is being held until May 9.

If information is needed in another language, contact (509) 325-6094.

For more information on Title VI, see STA’s Title VI Non-Discrimination Policy.
